If you're not on the ball every single day, great music will pass you right by without you even knowing it. When it comes to music, ignorance is not bliss, because you never know what you're missing out on. In the case of Jon Cooper aka TURTLE, we completely missed his debut EP, Who Knows, that dropped back in November of last year. We realized our failures inherent to missing this right away, because the EP-titled track is absolutely stunning. "Who Knows" builds slow like a fire: as it moves along, more elements are added to it, giving it allumination and sweltering heat in the form of mesmerizing vocals, subtle, shuffling percussion, & heavenly atmospheric pads. And if you stick around to the end, there's a beautiful piano solo that further pushes this song into epic territories. Also featured in our preview of this EP is the drum & bass-esque, "Opposite Of Low", that showcases the wide-range of sonic possibilities you can escape to on this EP.
