Are you in the mood for something a bit different, but totally rad? Take a listen to this group from Oakland, CA. From a first listen you would think the lead vocalist was a guy but in fact it is a lady! The vocal range Merril Garbus possesses is quite amazing. Her voice will instantly remind you of Harry Angus from the Cat Empire. WhoKill is a pretty cool album that can hold its own through a steady listen from front to back. This is one of those albums that would be perfect for a coffee shop atmosphere. WhoKill will not be released till April 19th, but you can preview 2 of my favorite tracks below.
