You know you're talented when you can take on a song as heavily covered as Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" and still manage to blow us away. Nearly two years ago, Berlin-via-Sweden quintet Tula did just that, and we've been anxiously awaiting more material from them ever since. Though they did receive a good deal of attention for a song they released in 2015, the track didn't appeal to us as much as their cover, but now they're back in a big way with new single "Another Kind Of Red". Though the song begins as a shadowy, minimalistic piece, it bursts into a passionate, well-layered pop production in the chorus parts. Tula's distinct vocals and brilliant songwriting are the most notable aspects of the Klas Åhlund-assisted piece, and we think it really has the potential to put Tula on the map.
