Troye Sivan has picked up the kind of fans over the course of his career that most artists can only dream about having (he's also an actor [he played a young Wolverine in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine] and a famed YouTuber as well). Thus far, the South African-born, Australia-located artist has a one EP, TRXYE, to his name, but today, the rising pop star is sharing his second EP, WILD. Though we heard his talent loud and clear when his debut EP dropped, we ultimately decided to pass on sharing the body of work, but with his new, six-track project here, Troye has himself his best material to date. It could be suggested that he's an unfair advantage in getting his music heard, but, truth be told, it doesn't matter how he's got into the position he's in now, because WILD speaks for itself. It's the complete package for fans of pop-minded R&B, and, from track to track, the production accompanying his own fantastic tone is continually great. The writing throughout is top-notch, and his vocal performances top everything off. Clearly, Troye proves with WILD here that he's the real deal. WILD is available on iTunes and Spotify now.
