Troves is the latest Brighton export that's destined for big things, and if their debut single, "Youth In Decay", is any indication of what's to come on their looming, similarly titled three-track work, it's safe to say the trio will be heading for a successful career that will go beyond the pages of the internet. Now, we understand that the act of emerging from blog-buzz may be tough for some coming fresh out of the gate as Troves is here, but the three have managed to create a sound that's a widely appealing vibe to it, and without even drawing comparisons to anyone, the crossover allure here is obvious. Based on this first single, we can only peer into what we're assuming is going to be the foundation for their music moving forward, and it's one that has us pulled into their style instantly. From the sing-along vibes of the songwriting, to the easy-going, upbeat production, there's nothing too flashy on the track, but rather, that less-is-more approach that we always appreciate. We've no doubt the rest of the world will appreciate it also, and, upon hear the potential oozing out of the track, we think Troves is going to have fans aplenty longing for more material.
