Los Angeles-based hip-hop artist Trip Carter might still be known to only a handful at this point, but he's more than carved out his signature style already, and it's one that's radiant on his newest piece, "Extra". Trip seems to have a firm grasp on the laid-back, mellow hip-hop he's pushing forth, and it seems Sad Money is on the same page, too, as the two work seamlessly together here. The sultry production will have listeners swaying from the very get-go, and, alongside catchy flows provided by the emcee, the piece as a whole poses a ton of value on the replay end. "Extra" is Trip Carter's third track in less than that many months, so expect more material to come out soon, as he seems to be working at torrid pace.
