TRFK's debut EP, traffic, is a nice and balanced rap offering with some great lounge jazz and house music influences thrown in to make the whole package really stand out from the pack. Their music features lyrics that come off just a little sharper than your average hip-hop single these days, and the construction is on-point. However, if you really want to delve in to the wordplay, then you'll have to brush up on your romance language skills, because half of the track is in French. Multilingual bars not withstanding, this is certainly going to be a song you'll want to give a couple listens to, and you'll have no trouble appreciating the solid production work that went into the making of "Metropolis." The flow is as smooth as anything else out there right now, and the diverse set of sounds that the group managed to stir into this one piece is quite impressive.
