Ordinarily, when A&Rs pair a popular rapper alongside a pop singer for a collaboration, the end result is cringe-worthy and as contrived as it gets. With some, you can pair about anyone up with them and reasonably expect something to be good, and, we think, Tove Lo is such an individual. With the Wiz Khalifa-featuring second track, "Influence", taken from her upcoming second album, Lady Wood, the Swedish pop queen is showing she's about to have that hit-on-hit repertoire for her new body of work, and that's a very good thing, indeed. Lady Wood will be out October 23, and you can look for "Influence" to hit iTunes and Spotify later tonight. (Make sure to listen to her aforementioned first track from the album, "Cool Girl", as it's an unequivocal hit as well.)
