Apple has not been the same company since Steve Jobs decided to work on the redesign of Heaven. Jobs was extremely hands-on and scrupulous with the Apple ads, many of which are some of the most iconic and memorable advertisements in recent history, and we think he would be pleased with the latest Apple ad. The spot, titled "Balloons", follows a lone balloon's search for companionship, paying homage to 1956 French short film Le Ballon rouge. Like many Apple ads of the past, sound is used to carry the message home, and the only sound in this ad is the vulnerable croon of TOULOUSE in the debut of his latest track. "I Will Follow You" (it's a cover from Sister Act) is a love song that, like James Vincent McMorrow's "If I Had A Boat", hits your emotional core and never relents. If you hear it while you are in a relationship with someone, it will remind you of them for the rest of time, so beware of that, and enjoy this haunting track.
