It's not often that an artist goes so far to keep the focus solely on their music that they remain anonymous even after the release of their debut EP, but that's exactly what new R&B artist TOTEM has done. To date, the Atlanta, Georgia, talent has yet to reveal his identity in an ongoing effort to maintain all attention on the message and melody in his music. Some of the contents off of TOTEM's EP, pride, had been released prior to the entire project's casting out a day ago, and one of those tracks, "Countdown", is a perfect example of the fusion of the genre that he seems to have mastered (and it's just an amazing track altogether that we'd feel bad not sharing with you all). It's a slower piece, but the underlying beat is steady, and the velvety quality in TOTEM's voice is unbelievably smooth, so even if he did reveal some more information about himself, at this stage in the game, there's little that could distract us from his music—it's simply too good not to pay all of our attention to.
