Tora hasn't posted any material since "These Eyes" three months ago, but are they ever back with new effort "Overcome" that features the ever-elegant vocals of Merryn Boller from Potato Potato. We're actually in awe of her transfixing tone, and with Tora's masterfully light electronic prodding her pretty message along, we find ourselves falling into a beautiful sonic abyss that only these acts here can manage. It's almost a disservice to try to analzye the majesty that "Overcome" exudes, so we're just going to direct your attention quick to its unusually downtempo, but entirely enchanging indie-folk elements throughout, noting just how unique and breathtakingly they all are together. Some smooth, sharpened synths slice through the track at various intervals, too, giving a deeper option for adoration of the inclusions, and background vocal loops of Boller's really just compact the brilliance of the effort as a whole. We can't get enough of it, and we see ourselves playing the track until our fingers fall off, in all honesty. You'll see exactly what we mean when you dive into the track, yourself, so get to it.
