You can't really question the quality that's sent forth when acts like La Mar decide to rework others like Tora, and, in this case, we see the Australians inject their signature turbulent, bass-filled tenor into the five-piece's recent "High Enough" track. We've kept watchful eyes on La Mar's work for a while now, so we're not too surprised at their continually soaring production techniques, and, again, they clearly portray here their masterful craft by skillfully pitching vocal elements and adding sub-heavy cadences to the original track. The result is one that see-saws from mellowed chords to amplified bass flawlessly, and, in turn, listeners are given a slightly alternate yet thoroughly intriguing new piece.
