Tora continues to treat us with an exquisitely evolving, R&B-infused indie-electronic sound, and their latest effort entitled "Eat The Sun" is no deviation from the trend. It's wildly palatable, very cool in its delivery, and impressive enough in its inflections and instruments to have our wholehearted affection. This isn't a new achievement for the five-piece, mind you—they've been sweeping us off our proverbial feet since we first came across them months ago—but it fascinates us that they can't seem to disappoint with any effort of theirs. Each is engaging in a different way, as Tora likes to experiment with their sound, and intrigue is almost necessarily extracted as we tune in to their successive releases. We certainly hope there are more to come prior to their upcoming EP, but even if "Eat The Sun" remains the only track revealed from it until its launch, we'll have our anticipation high for what we know—and don't know—Tora will surprise us with.
