There are only a handful of talents that are as prolific as Tom Misch, and with every releases, he leaves us wanting more and more. He's an upcoming release in Beat Tape 2 that's been anticipated for some time now, and with the release of a new track, "In The Midst Of It All", today from it (he'll also be treating us a to a new track per week until the end of August when the project drops) the UK talent again showcases both his vocal and production talent. Providing some vocal assistance on the particular piece is singer-songwriter Sam Wills, who seems to match up quite well alongside the one-man army. Possessing a melancholic tone from the start, the track picks up pace and character rather swiftly, and glassy percussive elements and smooth plucks create a thoroughly exhilarating sonic climate throughout. Misch's Beat Tape 2 is set to be released on August 28, and we'll be sure to have our eyes peeled for the upcoming teasers until that time.
