Tom Misch is becoming quite the force online right now; between his beats and his vocal contributions with his sister (and now Carmody), Tom Misch is well on his way to being scooped up by the music-loving masses. The last time we saw Tom and the latter artist collaborate was on their garage-leaning cut, "The Last Song". It was a genre-mashup that was well-received amongst bloggers and listeners alike, as it amassed over 30K plays in just under a month. And now here to continue the success they saw with the track is their new one, "We Used To Know". There's no UK-garage influence in this effort as there was in the last; rather, it's more of a strictly singer-songwriter tune that builds on simple arrangements leaving that easy-listening, minimalist feel. It's another beautiful song for these two to proudly champion as their careers being to take flight, though, and we fully endorse the direction they're each taking their respective sound.
