Kids Of The Apocalypse was one of the most intriguing mysteries of 2013. While they only released a total of three songs last year (all of which were huge), KOTA's music screams just one word: epic. Their sound radiates power, as their songs continuously force a tidal wave of sound upon your being. They've managed to reveal about as little information about themselves as they possibly could've; all members of the group are anonymous (to our knowledge), but their SoundCloud lists their location as Greenland. They tweet laconically in all caps and have a well-made, eye-catching website. Now, KOTA has summoned up another swell to throw at us. If you would've given me a thousand opportunities to predict who KOTA would remix next, there is not a chance that I ever would have guessed Tinie Tempah. But here it is, and it is just as colossal as their previous releases. They open up their remake of "It's OK" in a dark manner; an introductory strum of some instrument lures you in, and then bam! A wave of deep bass is released, followed by a grandiose brass section, which has already become KOTA's signature move. A fresh swell of percussion rolls through to bring it together, but once Tinie's verse hits, bam! KOTA strikes you again with gargantuan bass and brass. If they weren't before, KOTA should definitely be hot on your radar now, so be sure to stay tuned for their next move.
