We just recently featured a fantastic remix of this track by Jaccuzzi a couple of days ago, but Gold Fields has gone a completely different route with their interpretation (and simply crushed it), so we'll happily go for round two on the coverage. Whereas Jacuzzi cut up Tinashe's dark R&B sound to make it hit even harder, Gold Fields has changed up nearly every aspect, cranked up the pace, and made the synths feather-lite to give the whole thing a very bright aesthetic. It's a complete 180 turnaround from the sound of the parent track, but it's still 100% Gold Fields, and we wouldn't have it any other way. All the vocals have been glossed over with healthy amounts of echo and reverb, so the whole thing is bequeathed with a relaxed and distant tone, but where it really comes into its own is when the subtle build/drop combo happens just past the 2-minute mark. Listen for the transition as Gold Fields layers on some of the most laid-back sampling out there right now, and be transported to somewhere with a lot more sunshine than where you're at right now.
