When we first featured Tiggs Da Author, we tagged him as an emerging soul act, and though we've taken a pass on many of the reggae-tinged offerings he's put out as his sound has incubated since, he's emerged recently with a fresh, hip-hop-built cut called "Swear Down" that we're not passing up on. To be real, we never thought we'd be comparing Tiggs to artists in this neck of the woods (think Chance and Shwayze here), but, really, it's clear he's a knack for verses as well, and, as the ones within "Swear Down" flow alongside sunny guitar riffs and inviting claps, we're enjoying hearing him in this new light.
