In the microcosm of music blogging there is a fine-line we walk: is this song good (duh), does it sound the same as everything else?, are we posting this just to post up something? These are the stupid little dilemmas (among many other things) we face on the daily. The double-edge sword of having so much music being made today is trying to figure out new bands that don't immediately jump out at you. As we find a lot of these days, new bands come out and they sound very similar to what is already out. So with this base of understanding it's sometimes tough to get a grasp whether they are good enough, to put it frankly. This brings us to the Thumpers who we were just put on to. Their sound is nothing new, yet their song "Unkinder (A Tougher Love)" defies your willingness to brush it off as something that is not noteworthy. So with that all being said, we hope you don't think we are just posting music just to post, because we think "Unkinder (A Tougher Love)" is definitely worth your attention. Thumpers will release their debut EP Unkinder on 3rd June via Transgressive Records. The video for the single is below as well.
