Those familiar with Jack Vanzet already know that the man possesses several artistic talents, and while the visual kind might be his own particular niche, we happen to be quite avid admirers of his musical project, Thrupence, as well. We've taken to a good amount of his works in the past, and his latest, a track taken from Future Classic's 2015 sampler called "New Light", is a typically engrossing listen from him. Jack's sound, if you're not aware already, epitomizes the phrase "attention to detail", so listeners of his work should take note and pay attention accordingly. "New Light" is an instrumental-based number that saunters through several levels of sonic elation, and, with a serene, upright piano-led introduction, the track ascends rather exquisitely as it goes along.
