You could say Thomston's time for the spotlight has been a long time coming. His material released thus far has warranted lofty expectations and a reception that he has yet perhaps not received (though deserved), but, as we all know, things don't always happen overnight (we can't all be Maggie Rogers). Thomston has been releasing pieces of audio gold for a couple years now, and, with his debut album on the way, he's perhaps in the best position of his life so far to land what attention he has for so long been deserving of. With the release of the project's first single, "Float", we're hoping we're seeing the final days before his larger ascent, and, in our opinion, the track represents his most complete, impressive piece of work yet. We still don't know what his debut album is being called or when it's due to be released, but, as we have for so long, we will stay tuned, because it's absolutely more than likely that more great music from the talented artist will come.
