Based on what we've heard from Thomston (ever since we first came across his debut EP, School Night), the New Zealand-based singer-songwriter has consistently released quality that has not once dipped below something you could call average, and it was from this keen eye for detail, ear for production, and thoughtfulness for lyrics that has had us anticipating his every move. With the previously released Argonaut-featured tracks, "Burning Out", "Anaesthetic", and "Salt", we've been captivated with each effort, and now today, we see two new tracks, "Motley Crew" & "Caffeine", emerge to round out his second EP, Argonaut. Whereas some artists would leave the weaker material for the completion of the album, Thomston, uses the best-for-last angle as his electronic-led R&B sound is as bold as ever on the two new tracks. With the management from the lads at Saiko (Lorde), and booking from Windish, there's not only great music behind Thomston, but the people that are working for him are going to put the Auckland newcomer in the best position to succeed, so you can definitely expect big things from the man moving forward.
