This Is The Kit is the stage name of Kate Stables, quite literally one of the most talented folk musicians making music these days. She has the ability to tell a whimsical story overlayed with bluesy, twanging guitar that appeals to hardcore folk listeners while still opening herself up to anyone and everyone else who simply enjoys good music. "Earthquake" was a standout from her album Wriggle Out The Restless, with the remix jamming the "damn that sounds good" dial to 10.
