Stop what you're doing and take some time to really absorb this one. This is the first time we've posted either of the artists involved, and they haven't really taken off yet, but after listening to "Adios", it wouldn't be a stretch to guess that the two have a very bright musical future ahead of them. Thibault is an Australian producer who's been trickle-feeding tracks and demos on the internet for a couple years now, but up until the present time, they've all been relatively informal and low-key. However, a quick listen on his page will key you in to the fact that he is crazy talented, and since this latest song came out on Pilerats' compilation album alongside other notable efforts from Aussie stars, it would seem as if other people are starting to take notice, too. Thibault's track here is cinematic electronic at its finest, and a blend of old and new flavors within meld something equally fresh and timeless. The intro is relatively slow, but don't let that turn you off to the rest of the song. This isn't some shallow Top 40 crowd-pleaser that does all the work for you. You have to meet it in the middle, and if you do, the reward is huge. It's got all the makings of a hit, and Ashleigh Ellen's powerful vocals alongside have more than enough punch to keep pace with the booming production work with them. Every little detail has been meticulously groomed on the track, and word on the street is that Thibault even brought in the musical expertise of another HD favorite, Hunt for the Breeze, for additional production work to add the finishing touches to the hit.
