Theodore WHITE is a 19-year-old bedroom producer from Auckland, New Zealand (which is a place you should be familiar with by now, musically), and his "WhatHappened" instrumental that appeared today on SoundCloud is one impressive introduction to the talent in his possession. According to Theodore, the track has more meaning than most of his others, and with it, he hopes to show how instrumental hip-hop needs to be brought back more into the spotlight. With a "J Dilla [flair]" and some new-school, jazz-infused elements, we think Theodore did just that with his aptly titled "WhatHappened" effort.
