We're big fans of pop music here at HD, but there's a fine line we walk when it comes to music from the genre that we promote. If the sound is too over the top, too polished, or too contrived, we're not going to be too fond of it. The Glasgow-based band, The Wild Curve, provides an interesting case for us, though, one that'd catch on on a good day, and be passed up on a bad. Fortunately for all parties involved, the former scenario is what's occured, and we've their "Warriors" to show as a result. The production on the track can get quite bright at times, but as far as their songwriting and big, propulsive choruses go, we're digging them. Their sound may not be for everyone, but for those that love huge-sounding synth-pop, it'll prove to be a must-listen.
