The Weeknd just reminded us why he's on top right now with the massive success of his "Drunk In Love" remix (over 1.5 million plays in just over a day), and it's safe to say that his name carries a lot of weight these days. With so much attention on the man himself, a good-looking remix is always going to attract our attention, and we were excited when this particular one by TIGERBLOOD didn't disappoint. It's got all that same ultra-smooth rhythm that the original has, and Abel Tesfaye's voice still steals the show, but now there's some extra punch in the form of trap-esque production work and a heavier electric guitar. The pacing has been sped up a bit, too (it would be hard not to considering the snail's pace that The Weeknd often works with), but none of the magic is lost, and you still get that slow-jam feel from the song even though there are now a couple different track elements that would have you assuming otherwise. If you're at all a fan of The Weeknd, then you're going to really enjoy this one, but even if you're on the fence about the Canadian R&B star, then this track may just push you over that fandom edge.
