The Preatures are fantastic, and because we've had the pleasure of covering their alternative-flavored indie-pop before, we're happy to see some of their work come to life again in the form of a remix from another HD-featured name, GXNXVS. It's been a while since we last heard from the man, unfortunately, but we're not missing this stellar, truly silky reworking of his, no way. It's fantastically light, and it flows wonderfully throughout. It's not forceful in any part, it doesn't dismantle the original in some overly ambitious way, and yet, it's far underwhelming; it's just right on all accounts, and it's the perfect amount of electronic and instruments to back up the fact. The way the vocals from the original are allowed to play on GXNXVS' interpretation, too, is truly refreshing, and you can tell the Aussie had untold amounts of delight factoring them into his work. Incredibly, that same joy emanates all through the remix and every element within, and it really leaves nothing at all to be desired on it. Props to the man. Buy the original on iTunes.
