The Night VI has always been a reliable source for honest pop that comfortably transcends the tropes associated with the work of their contemporaries. They have been pumping out tracks at a pretty steady pace for the past couple of years, and while the basic elements haven’t changed, there's been a steady evolution in their sound that betrays their growth as a band. “Maybe It’s How I’m Feeling” has a sound that’s as direct and upfront as its title, and the simple song structure is devoid of any sonic trickery that would detract from the beauty that lies at its core. This song doesn’t need to be blasted through your speakers, and it’s not the kind of track that would feel at home on a workout playlist. However, this is some of the group’s most sophisticated work to date, and if you’re a fan of bluegrass and gospel guitar, then this is going to be your jam. The Night VI proves with the track that they're in rare form right now, and we’re excited to see where they take their craft from here. "Maybe It's How I'm Feeling" is taken from The Night VI's forthcoming EP that will be released on September 30.
