Any new song that The Night VI releases is always going to be a treat for us, and while we always evaluate each song by its own merit, instances where the act hasn't totally impressed us with their skill are few and far between. "Just Words", their latest track, has a lot of R&B flavor infused into the production work, and the subtle blend of pop and some super smooth undertones make for some of the easiest listening out there right now. The vocals and writing are stellar as always on the track, and there's always space in our playlists for a band that understands the importance of a cohesive track that melds both thoughtful sounds and deft storytelling into one complete package. "Just Words", along with the previously released "Turn Your Light On Me", "Too Late To Lie", will be released on their forthcoming yet-to-be-named EP that's due out in September.
