For any music group, it is scarily easy to get stuck in your ways and just stick with what works, but the best bands grow with their audience. The Neighbourhood knows this, and grow they have with their self-titled third LP—a collection of tracks with a desire to push the boundaries of rock 'n' roll. We will always have a soft spot for Wiped Out!, but The Neighbourhood is the group's best work to date. The album is complex and layered, and the guys have worked and molded these twelve tracks like a master potter shaping clay into a final form that is balanced and seriously beautiful the same.
