The Neighbourhood never seems to run out of great material; they've been fairly consistent in dropping solid track after solid track, and through this method, the five-piece has acquired a massive following over recent times. Even after landing a track on the new Spider-Man movie, they've showed no signs of slowing down, releasing an absolutely exemplary new song today entitled "Lurk". While their motion-picture sounds were a bit softer, "Lurk" proves to be dark, haunting, provocative, sensual, and somewhat intense (try to wrap your head around all of that for a second). The deep bass and perfectly timed percussion within lays an ideal foundation for guitar plucks and electronic nuances all the same, giving rise to a perfect instrumental for Jesse Rutherford's seductive vocals to follow. So even though they've been releasing music for months now, it doesn't look like they have any intentions of slowing down with their sound or creativity of it, as the #000000 & #FFFFFF-lifted track indicates.
