The unfortunate thing about movie soundtracks (sometimes) is the contriving nature it puts each individual artist or group in when it comes to creating music specifically for that project. Of course, these types of tracks may have been left off full-length albums, but often we find artists recording strictly for the soundtracks, and it doesn't always come out sounding great. Now, we can't speak on whether "Honest" was a leftover, or whether it was recorded solely for the new Spider-Man movie; the fact of that matter is that with The Neighbourhood, you can always count on them to bring the artistic and musical goods 100% of the time, no matter what. That is one of the many reasons why we love them as much as we do, and tracks like "Honest" reassure us that we'll rarely be repulsed by any of their efforts.
