Life is filled with mystery; there's a seemingly endless number of questions about the universe, existence, and humanity that might never be answered, and this fact can be extremely troubling to many. However, there's a certain comfort in knowing that all humans are living through the same unbelievably strange experience, and that there is a common thread running through humanity and the universe, and here to unite us in the goal of finding our place in the cosmos is Brooklyn-based talent The Landing. The Landing's debut EP, We Are, sparked our interest in his distinct blend of "space-pop", and now, he's back again with a brilliant second project, How Strange to Be. Much of the new EP juxtaposes upbeat, optimistic instrumentation with deep, inquisitive lyrics, and the result is a sound that welcomes all listeners into the discussion about humanity and our relation to the space around us.
