You know the deal when you see The Kooks. There's no doubt there'll be some smooth electric guitar, you can be certain that Luke Pritchard will flex his signature vocal style, and you're probably gonna get a song that's pretty optimistic, too. With the massive success of their previous albums, the popular quartet is back with a promising single from their new album, Listen, expected to be released on September 1st. We didn't necessarily love their last EP, Down, which they dropped off a few weeks ago, but their new single, "Bad Habit", definitely encompasses everything that we enjoy about the band. Within it, they keep things creative with constant vocal chanting, tribal-sounding percussion, and, of course, their own beloved style; so if their Down EP didn't quite do it for you, hopefully Listen (and "Bad Habit" from it) will be able to satisfy your craving for new Kooks material.
