The Ktwn EP is the first body of work from the Knux since their slight letdown sophomore album, Eraser, from 2011. Of course that is only one man's perspective but that was perceived from the point of view of a listener who was blown away by their debut, Remind Me In 3 Days..., which turned out to be one of the best albums to be released in 2008. Unfortunately for acts who come out of the gate with strong debut's, they will always be held up to that release. Sometimes you can chalk that up to long time fans holding onto that same sound, but with the Knux, unfortunately this was not the case. However fast forward to today and now we find the Knux taking the indie route as they have been released from Interscope Records. The Ktwn EP is a their debut indie release that finds itself as a tightly knit 5 track EP.
