Amber Bain (The Japanese House) has been one of our favorite, most consistent artists on the site over the past couple years. She has, perhaps, the most refreshing indie-electronic we've heard, and, with each release, she puts it wonderfully on display. Count us as not surprised, then, that her latest piece, "Swim Against the Tide", is more of the same goodness we love. "Swim Against the Tide" is the title track of Amber's third EP, and it follows first single "Face Like Thunder" as a beautiful taste from it. This new effort is a bit more subtle than that one, sure, but that's no bad thing at all, and, in fact, we're loving how it provides a more dynamic taste. Swim Against the Tide will appear November 11 via Dirty Hit, and, until that time, we advise you to listen to "Face Like Thunder" and the aforementioned title track below. (Also, prepare for extensive UK touring from Amber before her headlining US run.)
