About four months ago, we unearthed Dutch four-piece The Indien and brought some much-deserved attention their spectacular debut EP. We didn't know when we'd be receiving new material from the band, but today, we're finally getting our first taste of what more they have in store for us. "Summer Night" is their brand-new single that'll appear on their forthcoming second EP, and it might be the best offering we've heard from them to date. Warmly fluctuating guitar chords and some uniquely implemented percussion make up the majority of the instrumental foundation, and while this is occurring, lead vocalist Rianne Walther sings masterfully atop it all. We're more than satisfied with the new work here as a whole, and now, we're especially excited to hear the remainder of their second EP. We aren't sure when we'll get the chance to do so, but for now, we'll surely be listening to "Summer Night" for quite some time.
