The Harpoons, a Melbourne-based electronic-pop act, recently dropped their debut album, Falling For You, back in September, and if you missed it like we did, you're truly going to be in for an end-of-the-year-treat. Their sound can be categorized as R&B-leaning electronic-pop, but as far as comparing them to anyone else or letting those aforementioned genres simply describe them, The Harpoons are well beyond descriptions. It's with incredible efforts like "Unforgettable" or the old-school-soul-sounding "Falling For You" that we find their sound at the best, and alongside the rest of the fantastic material that's featured on their ten-track body of work, we've a kind of debut that simply can't go unheard.
