We have been following artist Conor Stephenson (The Half Earth) ever since the indie-folk sounds of his first-ever release, “Glass”. It was a track that found its home alongside second single “Borders” on Light Breaks In, a short, three-track EP that was released earlier this year, and now, The Half Earth is ready to do it all again with a brand-new EP and lead single “Pieces Of Us” from it. After falling in love with the delicate, falsetto-driven sounds of his previously released material, it is wonderful to see Stephenson expanding himself sonically with “Pieces Of Us”, his most raucous effort to date. The seemingly innocuous introductory verses soon give in to the weight of the aural onslaught of the chorus in what is an impressively bold introduction to Confidence Is Bliss, which is due for release in the very near future.
