Whether it was Bon Iver, or beards & plaid shirts, that kicked off this influx of alternative, ethereal, indie-folk, we really can't tell. What we can tell, though, is knowing when someone does it right, and when it comes to the sounds of the The Half Earth and new single, "Glass", we find our beards growing just a bit more upon hearing the wonderful effort. The Half Earth is a solo project of Conor Stephenson's, an artist based in Sheffield, UK, and the sounds of "Glass" speak to his emerging as a front-runner in the aforementioned genres, so make sure you get acquainted with the effort (and catch the free download of it) below.
