There are shades of Ryn Weaver's voice in that of singer Sonya Sukorukova's own (she's the lead singer of The Erised here), but that's a testament more to the beauty of it than some sort of replicate nature. Anyway, the Ukrainian six-piece and recent Med School Music signees have their own lightly momentous electronic-pop sound to claim, and really, from start to finish on their debut effort here, we're treated emotionally, artistically, and ever-soothingly to a piece that forces you to relax and love yourself while doing so. That's quite rare in our estimation, obviously and absolutely welcome, and really well-boding for the six moving forward. Needless to say, we're excited to see the next directions the musicians will take. "Pray" comes from the act's forthcoming four-track EP released through the aforementioned label. Look for that to be released on the second day of February.
