If you haven't noticed, UK act The Code has pretty much paved the way for a new brand of R&B, and, not only has their sound stood out with every release, but, in fact, their ability to wheel in a unique artistic expression as a whole has been showcased as well. Today, the duo is out with a new piece named after—and inspired by—Kendrick Lamar's "LOVE.", and it's been given a rendition that's indicative of their work thus far. With the hooks from the original reworked and a distorted, bass-heavy R&B backdrop given as well, they allow for an intriguing and immersive listen that we reckon will have on repeat. Check out the new single below, and be on the lookout for their new project backed by WMG that'll drop later this year. It's gonna be good if the material on it is like that they've dropped thus far.
