The Code is a fairly recent duo, but we suggest you start keeping an eye out for them now, as they drop a velvety masterpiece entitled “Her”. With an engaging description of how the collaboration came into being, the two sonic engineers fascinated us before we even listened to their effort. With inspiration from Spike Jonze's Her, The Code pay homage to it superbly, merging old-fashioned soul with lustrous future sounds, causing the vocals, however minimal, to be captivating, and the production, to be absolutely flawless.
