We've covered a lot of The Code's material to date, and what's been particularly noteworthy about their strain of electronic-R&B is that it's managed to remain entirely unique still, as today, they take on (and overhaul) "Brooklyn Baby" by Lana Del Rey. The UK duo's version does contain shades of the original through vocal cuts and instrumentations, but there's plenty of fresh sonic segments present to give the piece an incredible style here. Signature drum breaks on the hooks, reimagined vocals by the singer, and just an overall tantalizing R&B vibe should catch on after the first listen, for sure.
