The Code's intriguing take on the fusion of electronic and R&B is tireless to our ears, and with their latest single, "Azure", taken from their mixtape forthcoming, we continue to ponder over their stunning imagination. The duo, if you don't already know, are proficient producers to say the least, but besides that fact, they also have an uncanny technique of expressing their sound at an incredibly high level, in turn helping to maintain their loyal listening base. This particular piece of theirs here is quite indicative of the UK-based team in terms of past work, and that's primarily due to its ornate nature and cryptic, R&B-flavored vocal cuts throughout. The flawlessly polished percussive elements and deeply layered drums only add to the aforementioned vocals' poignancy, and, collectively, a dusky, thoroughly immersive electronic setting is pushed out.
