The Boom Booms are a Vancouver, BC based 6 piece group who cover multiple genre's with an effortless flair that varies from latin to reggae, rock, acoustic & folk. ¡Hot Rum! is their latest album that was released in July of 2011. I have been trying to get my hands on this album for a long time and after a good listen through I gotta say I am impressed. If you have ever heard a band and thought to yourself, "why isn't this band bigger than they are?", well apply that to The Boom Booms because I have no idea either.
