I know what you are thinking, "Black Eyed Peas on Hillydilly.... WTF?" Well I would probably say the same thing considering these guys have taken a complete 180 on what made them good back in the day. Personally I thought Elephunk was a great album but after that they kinda fell off my radar by making music that really didn't resonate. The Beginning is by no means an album that is a step in the right direction for our type of ears but you always have to give an album a listen through before you give it the blind hate. This album won't take long before you skip through it with ease but I bet you will stop at 'Just Can't Get Enough' and think, "hey ya that is a bit catchy" and let it play out. I was pretty tentative at first because I was starting to like this song and when I start to like a song I must write about it. But its a BEP song and what are my readers going to think??. Well sadly I have no choice because I like this song so now its your choice > listen and like or listen and hate. You choose! The Beginning drops Nov 30th.
