Reflecting on their exceptional Bop City trilogy, we're willing to argue that Terror Jr has been one of the best pop acts over the past few years. Their never-dull, highly self-aware take on the genre always contains a ton more depth than what first meets the ear, giving their music a unique edge that—while being ridiculously fun to listen to—resonates in much, much deeper ways than pop's typically able to. Today, Terror Jr makes their first move since Bop 3 with "Heaven Wasn't Made For Me", and it is a dark and brooding song that shows the Terror twosome at their best. Singer Lisa's vulnerable voice pierces right to the core on it, making it one of her most convincing performances she's had to date.
