Tep No has been quite the fixture here since we found one of his first original tracks, "Promises", a while back, and it's safe to say that since that song came out, his stock has skyrocketed as both a producer and a vocalist. His voice has a soft, raspy, quality to it that compliments his sound perfectly, and every song he puts out is loaded with with big, melodic drops that are uniquely capable of relaxing and energizing you all at once. There aren't a lot of newcomers who can make this style of laid-back dance as well as he does, so it's no surprise that he's quickly becoming one of the most sought-after producers on the internet right now. For this latest track, he's taken a step back as vocalist, and handed the spotlight to another new name in the dance music world, Lizz Kellermann. Lizz has her name on a couple of singles which have already been out for a few months now, but this will definitely be her biggest feature to date (and it's the first we've heard of her), so we're excited to see where she goes from here. Her voice is soft in the intro (just like Tep No's, in fact), but it grows in lockstep with the song as the synths and beat get bigger, and by the time the main section of the song is in full swing, it becomes strikingly obvious that she can hang with the best of 'em. As far as innovation goes, "It's Alright" is a bit deceptive. At first glance, it's a pretty standard EDM track, complete with all the drops and builds you've come to expect from big-room dance. In general, the type of EDM can get old after a while and tiresome to listen to, but for some reason, Tep No has found a way to make the genre a refreshing experience again. Listen to the song more than once, and you'll notice everything is just a bit tweaked when compared to boilerplate dance music. It's the attention to detail, fine tuning, and innovative use of deep house influences that make this single one you can listen to over and over again without once getting bored or disinterested, and we're quite sure it's going to be big.
